Praise for the Book
"This is a great, funny story that any kid would love. I really enjoyed it and will make sure to keep a copy at work when I’m having a bad day. This is a must read story that needs to be added to your bookshelves." ~ JBronder Book Reviews
"This was SO fun. The pictures were incredibly expressive. The green farts were clearly noxious to the people who had to smell it. Somewhat reminiscent of Dr. Seuss drawings. LOVED this!" ~ Kat
"Still laughing after reading this one!" ~ Andrea Davis
"Funny story, cool illustrations, love the title. Farts will always be funny." ~ 009
"Hysterical but not necessarily for children." ~ Phyllis Stanley

My Review
I received this book in return for an honest review.

By Lynda Dickson
Ralph is running late for work and doesn't eat his usual breakfast. This causes him to have an embarrassing problem all day around his co-workers, his boss, and the girl he likes. How will he go on his big date tonight?
On the first page, the author uses language to great effect by allowing us to "hear" Ralph get out of his screeching bed and walk across the creaking floor. Unfortunately, this technique isn't employed again until the end of the book, when we finally get to "hear" his farts. This is a missed opportunity to get the kids laughing, although they will enjoy the use of such "rude" words as "fart" and "butt". I think children could better relate to Ralph if the book was set in school with Ralph being a kid, rather than a grown-up in an office.
The cute illustrations, also by the author, really bring Ralph to life. And the depiction of his green, gaseous farts are priceless!
